Getting started with Aeluka Sheets
Aeluka Sheets turns a spreadsheet into a field data collection tool. You keep a real spreadsheet, share a Magic Link with your field reps, and their answers land in the right cells. This page gets you from zero to your first ledger.
Who needs an account
Only you, the owner, need an account. You sign in to build spreadsheets, create Magic Links, and review data.
Your field reps never sign in and never install anything. They open a Magic Link in a phone browser and fill a form. There is no app and no login for reps. See The field rep experience for their side.
Create an account or sign in
- Go to sheets.aeluka.com and click Get started, or Sign in if you already have an account.
- Sign up or sign in with the options shown. This admin login is only for owners.
- After signing in you land on your Ledgers dashboard at /app.
If you are already signed in, opening the home page sends you straight to your dashboard.
Create your first ledger
A ledger is one spreadsheet plus the Magic Links, entries, and settings attached to it.
- On the Ledgers dashboard, click New Ledger.
- Give it a name in the Name field, for example June site visits.
- Choose how to start:
- Blank Ledger starts with an empty grid.
- Import spreadsheet opens an existing Excel .xlsx file as a live grid.
- Connect Google Sheet is marked Coming soon and is not available yet.
- The ledger opens and you can start editing.
Import an existing Excel file
If your data already lives in Excel, you do not have to rebuild it.
- Click New Ledger.
- Click Import spreadsheet and pick a .xlsx file. Only .xlsx files are accepted.
- The file opens as a live spreadsheet, with your columns, rows, and values intact.
You can export any ledger back to .xlsx at any time with Save or Save As, so your data is never locked in.
The ledger dashboard
The Ledgers dashboard at /app lists every ledger you own. Click any ledger to open it. A brand new account shows No ledgers yet until you make one.
The top navigation bar has:
- Ledgers: your list of ledgers (the dashboard).
- Usage: your current plan and how much of each monthly limit you have used.
- Pricing: plans and upgrade options.
- Team: member seats, shown only when you are on the Team plan.
- Your account menu at top right, where you sign out.
When a ledger is open, a Back button in the top bar returns you to the dashboard.
